Access Control Systems

The Main Components of The Access Control System
Control Board
It is a pre-programmed panel that receives information from the reader, analyzes it, and then gives the necessary command.
Reader (Card or Fingerprint)
It is an electronic card reader that is responsible for reading the card remotely and sending information to the control panel. This technology is called (Wigand).
Electronic Card (Card)
It is a card with an electronic chip installed inside it that sends signals to the reader when approaching the device. Each card has a different code number than any other card within the system.
Software System
It is the system responsible for recording user data such as name and profession, controlling the period of time they are allowed to interact with the system and its validity period, and controlling the mechanism of the system as a whole.
How the Access Control System Works
When approaching the door or entrance where the system is installed, the user passes his card on the lock or on the device, and then in less than a second, a signal is received from the electronic chip inside the card through the reader and passed to the control panel for analysis and to verify the user’s identity and give The command to open the lock in less than a second. Then the user’s data is recorded and his identity, such as name and profession, is displayed in the software or computer system.
The access control system is handled through many smart devices, such as a smart lock, or through an electric lock on doors, or as fingerprint devices, for example, and also at the entrances to residential complexes, companies, and institutions.
